SafePark EPS
Diese Einpark- und Rangierhilfe nutzt als Sensor eine Antenne, die in oder auf den Kunststoff-Stoßfänger des Autos möglichst so eingeklebt wird, dass der Antennen-Sensor in ca. 50 cm Höhe über Straßen-Niveau die gesamte Breite des Autos und auch die beim Rangieren oft besonders kritischen Stoßfänger-Ecken lückenlos absichert. Daher, da auch im Berührungsbereich keine toten Winkelzonen vorliegen, kann EPS die Annäherung bis zum letzten Zentimeter an das Hindernis heran ermöglichen, und folgerichtig als Nahbereich-Rangierhilfe bezeichnet werden. Signalisiert werden die Hindernisse, solange sich ihr Abstand zum Antennen-Sensor verringert. Dabei beginnen die Warnsignale ab ca. 50 cm Abstand. Und Hindernisse jeglicher Form sowie bis auf wenige Ausnahmen (zum Beispiel trockenes Holz, Papier, Karton, Kunststoff-Tonnen) jeglichen Materials werden detektiert. Der jedem Gerät beiliegende Antennen-Sensor ist eine selbst-klebende Aluminium-Folie, ca. 2m lang und 10mm breit. Er kann an jedem Punkt kontaktiert und sein nicht benötigtes Ende abgeschnitten werden. Die Warnsignale erfolgen 3-stufig akustisch (Mini-Lautsprechen, 25mm Durchmesser).
This parking and manoeuvring aid uses an antenna as sensor, which is glued into or onto the bumper in such a manner, if possible, that in appr. 50 cm height above street level the antenna-sensor covers the complete width of the car as well as the corners of the bumpers, which often are most critical parts during manoeuvring. Hence, since even in the contact zone there are no dead angles, EPS can enable the approach up to the last centimeter towards the obstacle, and consequently it can be designed as a close-to-bumper manoeuvring-aid. EPS signalizes the obstacles, as long as their distance to the antenna-sensor decreases, starting the warning signals at appr. 50 cm distance, and signalizing obstacles of any form as well as nearly any material except few ones (like for example dry wood, paper, cardboard, plastic tons). The antenna-sensor attached to every device is a self-adhesive aluminium foil. It can be connected in any point, and its resting end can be cut off. 3-step warnings ar signalled acoustically (mini-loudspeaker, 25mm diameter).
